GET YOUR SH*T DONE!

Are you stressed?

If so, it may seem like you are losing control of your life.

Throughout the school year, you have maintained your health. As a result, all aspects of your life, including academics, seem to have been positively affected.  You are proud and confident to have taken care of yourself and to be doing well in school. Not only do you look great, but you feel great! Pushing yourself has taken determination, energy and time.

So why waste that?

No matter what year you are in, no matter what program you are in, and no matter what school you go to, this is a crucial and stressful time of the year for everyone. Majority of you are likely stressed and lacking sleep. So, an important factor to consider is:

What is worth your time?

While you are forced to cram, even if you’ve been keeping on top of things, it is of the upmost importance during this time to maintain priorities that benefit you. It’s easy to procrastinate, to eat junk-food, and to even ignore studying as a whole. However, if you want to succeed, it is necessary to maintain your personal health and happiness even if others around you choose not to. While some people still manage to get their work done with procrastination at hand, you have better things to do, don’t you?

While avoiding your work may be tempting, it is a huge waste of time. As I always say, if something is a waste of time, then it is simply not worth doing. You are better than that.

Answer this:

Would you rather be this person…

…or this person?

#8 rule of self-dignity and pride: Study hard, breathe and relax, sleep, and eat well. Most importantly, get your sh*t done!
